Dawn Young - Yoga Director

Dawn Young, E-RYT, AYT, is the director of the Momentum Yoga School. She has been teaching yoga for 10 years and practicing for 20. She studies and teaches an alignment based yoga that is beneficial for developing strength, flexibility, and an awareness of the body/mind connection. She enjoys teaching a challenging Hatha Flow, but even more, helping people to let go of all the work they've done in their jobs and activities in Restore Yoga. She also teaches Momentum’s 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training. When she's not teaching or taking yoga classes, you'll find her climbing, nordic skiing, cooking, and reading.

Melanie Colbert - Instructor

Melanie received her first 200 hour Hatha Yoga teacher training in 2010 at Sage Hills Healing Center, and her second 200 hour Hatha teacher training at Momentum Sandy in 2016. Both certifications focused on alignment and preventing injury when practicing yoga. Yoga has brought Melanie peace, healing and presence in her life. She loves being able to assist others to achieve that peace, healing and presence in their life through Hatha yoga.MelanieColbert

Mikah Cook - Instructor

Mikah has been a certified yoga teacher since 2012, through Salt Lake Community College. Before getting officially certified, she lived in a yoga ashram in San Diego, California, for 3 years, where she embodied an Ayurvedic lifestyle and learned many facets of different healing modalities and yoga styles. Through this experience and her yoga teacher training certification she has discovered that restorative yoga is the most meaningful style to her and where she thrives as a teacher. However, all yoga styles are a way to discover your body and all its beauty. When she’s not teaching yoga, you can find her mothering her two children of 10 and 8, climbing, enjoying the outdoors, or traveling internationally.Mikah Cook

Marie Delaney - Instructor

Marie began practicing yoga in 2008 and completed a 200-hour certification in 2013.
Her classes focus on finding your inner strength by connecting breath with mindful movement, and encouraging students to tune in and listen to their bodies. She sees yoga as a way of life - a path to self love, compassion and joy! She spends her free time outdoors playing with her 2 daughters, hiking, learning to rock climb, reading, and always cooking, eating or thinking about food!

Debi Gary - Instructor

Debi certified to teach yoga in 2003 through Inner Connections Whole Life Center in the beautiful Rocky Mountains and has assimilated teachings from some of the most influential yoga souls in the world. She integrates knowledge from her formal education into her teaching with a focus on alignment. She thrives on the dynamic energy brought to the mat by each student and hopes to reciprocate by leaving each practitioner with a feeling of strength and inner peace.DebiGary

Michael Krushinsky - Instructor

Michael has been teaching yoga for 8 years, and uses his practice to bolster mindfulness, breathing mechanics, and athletic performance. Join him for classes that blend breathing practice, movement flows, and whole-body play into challenging-yet-universally-accessible sessions. Michael also teaches Momentum Athlete, a strength and fitness course at Momentum Millcreek.

Jaime Manning - Instructor

Jaime Manning, originally from West Virginia, fell in love with the Wasatch mountains the first time she visited the area. She found yoga and climbing around the same time, and in the spring of 2014, she moved to Salt Lake City. A year later she completed her 200 RYT Training. She enjoys teaching a vinyasa power flow that combines strengthening and stretching in order to help you step off your mat feeling refreshed, nourished, and balanced.JaimeManning

Selma Moric - Instructor

Selma has been practicing yoga since 2008 and became a 200 hour certified teacher in 2013. She has practiced many different types of yoga but my favorite will always be Vinyasa. She loves the practice and loves to see how it changes people's lives. Her favorite part of the practice is finding the freedom of expression and the connection to your breath. When you enter that state of mind you free yourself to really be you without any worries. SelmaMoric

Taylor Nelson - Instructor

Taylor is certified with the Yoga Alliance, has been reaching for 4 years, and practicing for 6. She studies an Ashtanga Vinyasa practice that promotes mindfulness, strength, and flexibility. She enjoys teaching a challenging Vinyasa as well as slowing it down for a gentle flow practice. Taylor also enjoys climbing and works as a Shift Leader at Momentum Sandy. TaylorNelson

Adelide Paulson - Instructor

Adelide was born and raised in Holladay, Utah and has lived there for most of her life. She began practicing yoga in 2010 and has continued practicing regularly since then. After five years, she decided to get certified as a 200 RYT yoga instructor, and has recently finished a yoga training in pre/post-natal yoga classes. Besides yoga, Adelide loves spending time with her family and enjoys rock climbing, hiking, biking, and camping with her husband. Adelide is studying Community Health Education at UVU, and plans on getting her Doula certification in the fall of 2017.

Stacy Petersen - Instructor

Stacy is the founder and visionary of Earthflow Yoga. She’s been teaching yoga since 2007. She’s also a certified Hypnotherapist, Wellness Counselor, Oneness Trainer, Kids Yoga Instructor and dancer. Her classes offer a unique blend of physicality, flow and introspection inspired by the systems and cycles of the earth. In teaching yoga, she hopes to empower others with the tools to bring greater consciousness and peace in the world. Her classes cater to athletes and those who resonate with the natural world. She teaches a vinyasa flow style class. Expect to move with the breath as you focus on alignment and injury prevention when you take her classes. StacyPetersen

Kimberly Reynolds - Instructor

Kimberly has been teaching yoga for over ten years and was one of the first to be certified under D’ana Baptiste. She teaches Power Yoga and Yoga for Athletes. Yoga has changed her life, and allows her to continue to increase her athletic performance. Working with athletes is so rewarding, she loves introducing how yoga can complement any training program by increasing strength, balance, flexibility and overall performance. Yoga can be challenging both mentally and physically, that is why each day presents a new opportunity for growth on the mat. Kimberly works at Utah Valley University in the Outdoor Adventure Center offering students a chance to get outside and experience nature. She mountain bikes, kayaks, climbs, and most recently has started trail running due to her new furry companion.KimReynolds

Lezlie Wickes

Lezlie is a certified Pilates and Fitness instructor. She has been teaching pilates for 15 years and fitness classes for 28 years. Lezlie enjoys creating an environment of calmness, unity through a practice of strength for the soul and the body. She enjoys helping people come away with a lighter mind and heart. In her spare time, Lezlie sings in a semi-professional choir and volunteers as a family liaison at Primary Children's Hospital. lezlie-briggs (1)
